Well, the bells were rung to mark the Wedding of Ophelia Hunter and William Turner on Saturday and again for service this morning but I’m afraid that’s the best I can say about it. A rare visit to the ringing chamber by two of the leading lights of Chawton’s “old” band, Les and Ann Human, enriched the atmosphere this morning.
